Really, it is old barn wood...so it will make your project look as old as the barn. Brown Barn Wood Siding will have lots of color and texture variation; some boards will still have the original saw marks while others have weathered enough that the weathered texture has taken over the texture on the wood; brown barn wood is readily available in various thicknesses sometimes up to 3"; the thicker wood allows you to create offsets in the application; windows and doors can be trimmed with 2" thick stock while corners and fascia can be even thicker.
