gray barn wood siding has been ravaged by time to create the gray color. While there are many shades of gray and various textures, after a short time on an exterior application the colors will become more uniform to give the feel that a relatively new structure has been there for ages; the gray weathering is the wood's natural protection against the elements so, while the wood is already old, it has many more decades of use as an exterior siding; gray siding can be applied in a variety of ways, vertical board on board or board & bat or BarnStyle with the boards side by side, or it can be applied horizontally side by side or lapped...or create your own design
