All of the woods we offer here are recycled from a previous use and qualify for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) MR 4 (materials reuse) points in a program administered by the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
Beyond the "feel good" that comes from using reclaimed or antique wood flooring is the incredible appearance of these floors. The look ranges from very rustic to very rich with a touch of character. In case you are wondering, for our purposes, reclaimed wood was put into use less than 75 years ago and antique wood was put to use more than 75 years ago. Browse through these antique & reclaimed wood floors...there is something here for everyone.
While we maintain that solid wood is the way to go we do recognize that there are some situations that are better suited to an engineered wood floor. We have developed a few antique wood engineered floors.
